1st Possession - Riding the Kanto Ferry, Video, Around 12 pm

Gotta say, you humans know how to live in luxury. There definitely weren't any ships like this back where I came from!

[ When the feed starts streaming video it shows a teenage boy of Chinese(?) descent grinning, sitting in a lounge chair on the deck of the ferry. There's a cold, frosty glass of beer in view on the side table next to him, and the man lounges back in the chair with a relaxed sigh as he adjusts to catch the sun a bit more. ]

Good booze, fine-looking women, and powerful little creatures fit to be perfect minions with lots to collect. Shame they can't hold a conversation that well, but the world after death could be a hell of a lot worse. Don't know what I did to get to this paradise but like hell I'm gonna complain about it!

[ He laughs, almost bellowing with it before he looks into the camera once more. ]

So if I've got this thing workin' right, I wanna ask. Just what do a lot of you do for fun around here? I'm lookin' to keep entertained and take in as much life as I can here, so don't leave anything out!

[ The word that his death was valiant makes him snort a little bit. Not that he doesn't appreciate the compliment, he's just never heard one told to him sincerely before in his life. ]

If it's not an afterlife, then what is it? I've got no complaints being here either way, but a little more information couldn't hurt.

[Roy takes in a breath as if he's about to launch into a long explanation then pauses.]

Some weird place full of friendly little monsters where people get brought in and then leave after a seemingly random length of time.

[It's not even worth trying to give a meaningful explanation.]

From what I've been told, when I go home I won't remember this place and no time will have passed.

If that's the case, I'll just go back to being dead after this is all done.

That just means I'm gonna have to live it up while I can here. Maybe find a way to stay permanently, since there's nothin' for me to go back to.

I've also heard people have been here for years... relying on all this hearsay is frustrating, but there's no other information.

That sounds like a stupid thing to warn someone over.

Guess I'll have to take your word for it. Can't say I see you as the type who'd say that kind of thing just to mess with someone, at least not out of no where.

[ He might be skeptical, but he's also smart enough to determine what kinds of things different humans might say for what reasons. Even if he doesn't know Mustang very well at the moment. ]

Any other words of advice, or is that all?

Just fair warning. They make even less sense than anything else here... and the music doesn't ever stop, so you might want to invest in earplugs.

Alphonse, huh... Last I saw, he gave himself up to give the shorty back his arm. What happened to him in the end?

[ Honestly he was wondering about the music, but now that he knows? Advice taken, if he really does end up annoyed by it. No place is perfect. ]

Ed managed to get him back, they're both fine. I have my sight back... Ling is on his way back to Xing.

You don't say. Glad to hear that the kid got what he wanted, considering his opinion on being greedy before all this crap went down.

[ Not to mention Ling going home could only mean that Lan Fan got the stone to him, and if that goes well... It's strange, the calming feeling of accomplishment he has just hearing about all of it. Good thing Roy can't see the soft smile he's just allowed himself to pull. ]

How you got your sight back has got to be a story all on its own, though. Just what'd you do to pull that one off?

Amestris has some very talented Doctors who know alchemy. I only had to make a few reasonable concessions.

Compared to everything else it's a boring tale.

[ Not that he fully believes Roy, but even Greed knows some things are better left unsaid. ]

But why don't we get back to what I was asking about? I want to hear about all the fun things to do and see in this place, so don't leave anything out.

I can't say anything for your destination, but the city I'm in has more than a few recreational diversions worth mentioning. There are your usual assortment of bars, and a place offering gambling in a way I'd never heard of until now.

There's also a nice little place in the first city after New Bark that offers massages, and some local monuments on the way here.

Then it'll be more to look forward to when I do get back over there, but I think exploring the other place might have its merits too. It means that I've got a place to go if Kanto turns out to be boring, if nothing else.

[He's taking this other world thing awfully well. But, then again, it is better than the alternative Greed would be facing.]

There's tons to collect and take for my own – hell from what I've heard that's the entire point of this world. It's perfect for guys like me who want it all.

Also, make it 'as much as I can drink' and you're on. I'm looking forward to it.
