1st Possession - Riding the Kanto Ferry, Video, Around 12 pm

Gotta say, you humans know how to live in luxury. There definitely weren't any ships like this back where I came from!

[ When the feed starts streaming video it shows a teenage boy of Chinese(?) descent grinning, sitting in a lounge chair on the deck of the ferry. There's a cold, frosty glass of beer in view on the side table next to him, and the man lounges back in the chair with a relaxed sigh as he adjusts to catch the sun a bit more. ]

Good booze, fine-looking women, and powerful little creatures fit to be perfect minions with lots to collect. Shame they can't hold a conversation that well, but the world after death could be a hell of a lot worse. Don't know what I did to get to this paradise but like hell I'm gonna complain about it!

[ He laughs, almost bellowing with it before he looks into the camera once more. ]

So if I've got this thing workin' right, I wanna ask. Just what do a lot of you do for fun around here? I'm lookin' to keep entertained and take in as much life as I can here, so don't leave anything out!

[The correction is almost automatic. He's had to say it so many times the past month.]

If you think this is the afterlife... does that mean the last thing you remember is the fight?

[ He's sitting up a little bit, leaning into the camera as if examining the other Greed to see if what he's thinking is correct. ]

You're not gonna tell me your name's Greed too, are ya? I remember the old life, so I'd like to know how that'd be possible if that's the case.

[Well, doesn't this guy remind Envy of someone he knows. He rolls his eyes; it's not nearly so tolerable coming from a stranger.]

Well, there's always having your new minions fight the wildlife. That's what all the locals like to do.

[ An impersonator, or something else going on? He didn't think the military had managed cloning or something like that, or that pops would create two of him. It's intriguing, to say the least. ]

I'd ask you to prove it, but if I can't bring my unbreakable shield up here then I guess you can't either. You should still have this, at least.

[ He reveals his left hand for the camera, allowing the other to take in the sight of the familiar ouroboros tattoo. ]

[ Phew. At least pops didn't survive the battle if that's the case. ]

The way you say that is making me think this isn't some sort of afterlife after all though. And here I thought someone liked me enough not to stick me in hell.

Now he knows how Envy feels. Greed obliges, though, shifting the grip of the 'Gear so he can show off the tattoo on the back of his hand.]

[ With a grin he reveals the tattoo, same spot as last time. Now, it's bragging time. ]

Get this, the body I was put in is royalty! He's a Prince of Xing, and if things played out the way I think they did he ended up Emperor too. It's not the whole world, but it's definitely a start!

[ The word that his death was valiant makes him snort a little bit. Not that he doesn't appreciate the compliment, he's just never heard one told to him sincerely before in his life. ]

If it's not an afterlife, then what is it? I've got no complaints being here either way, but a little more information couldn't hurt.

[ Well, he's not grinning anymore at least. He's more curious, leaning into the camera little. Now that he's getting more messages, he's starting to piece things together about why the other homunculi don't recognize him. Not that he can say it's a bad thing, considering his feelings on his true siblings... ]

It takes him a few seconds to puzzle it out, but then it clicks. Oh. OH. This must be the other Greed. One of the only two that Envy's never met. But he's heard all about the other Envy's disgusting true form from a few people. And the other Wrath told him the bizarre, nonsensical story of the Greed reborn into a human's body.]

[His face settles into a familiar smirk, as though he didn't just have that huge moment of confusion.]

Afraid we actually haven't met before, Greed. That is your name, isn't it?
